A MOVIE YOU CAN TAKE THE WHOLE FAMILY TO SEE [4/25/2010 ]

Last Sunday, I went to see the movie, “Prayers to God”, and I found it to be everything the critics said it was and more.

It is the story of a young boy who is dying from cancer, but through his undying faith, and the courage and acceptance that comes from such faith, this young boy (this movie is based on a true story) brings faith, comfort and courage to countless suffering persons throughout the world.

This movie also demonstrates the importance of having a faith filled family environment that nurtures such faith.

I would be surprised if there was a dry eye in the whole theatre when the movie ended.

THE CASE for CHRISTS RESURRECTION [ Easter 2010 ]

I have just viewed a video that is distributed by Joseph Farrah’s World Net Daily, and produced by Grizzly Adams Productions and I must say that it is breathtaking.

This video completely disintegrates the hypothesis of “Carbon Tet dating” that has been alleged to prove that the “Shroud of Turin” is a medieval fraud.

This is a video that utilizes many men and women of impeccable scientific credentials to prove that this piece of coarse cloth is most probably the burial shroud of Our Lord and Savior, but that its very existence cannot be explained by today’s modern science.

In the words of one of the scientist in the video “modern science cannot explain how this holographic picture in detail appears on the shroud, perhaps it is by some sort of radioactive radiation that is not even yet known to mankind and may never be”

It can also be  used to show to Moslems who will be willing to view it, that Jesus of Nazareth did indeed die on the cross and he died a most brutal death in reparation to His Father for our sins.

I strongly recommend this video to all those who need further proof, and to all those who don’t need more proof, but can use these materials to help convert those who are still not believers.

God bless, yours in Their Hearts,

From the President--Kenneth Fisher Febuary 8 2010

I am neither a Theologian nor a Canon Lawyer, but this is how I see it. The first of these two churches is the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church that my good parents and the good priests and Religious they sent me to raised me in.  It is a church that is always merciful and forgiving but stern against all sin while always willing to grant absolution when the conditions for absolution have been met.  It is a church that requires that a public sinner publicly repent of his sins for forgiveness, it is a church that requires that a public sinner publicly repent of his sins in order to receive final absolution, a Catholic funeral, and burial on consecrated grounds.  It is also a church that does not permit eulogies at a Requiem Mass.  It is a Church in which I hope and pray to die in.  Today it is more openly manifested in the many places where the Mass of St. Pius V is celebrated, but it is also manifested in other parishes where the Pastor has the courage to stand up for the Faith, even sometimes when it means bringing on the ugly ire of his “Bishop”. It is a Church that exists in at least Seventeen different Rites and Churches, It is the Church that in the words of its Founder, Our Lord Jesus Christ, will last until the end of Time.

The other church can best be described as an apostate church, it is the church that came from the intentionally implanted ambiguities that were put into nearly all, if not all, of the documents of Vatican II that enabled the many, far too many, abuses that have occurred since and will unfortunately occur in the future, and enabled the dissenters to come out from under the rocks they were hiding under and into the open to push  abuses such as allowing Eulogies at Requiem Masses even though the Vatican forbids such; what is worse, allowing the most pro-abortion, pro-sodomite President this Nation has ever suffered to deliver that forbidden eulogy! Abuses such as having a consecrated Prince of this Church in prominent attendance (he even gave the final blessing over the casket) over this scandalous Requiem Mass for a publicly professed pro-abortion, pro-sodomite politician such as Edward Kennedy.  Abuses such as having this apostate church publicly try to claim it is pro-life and pro-family while its actions prove just the opposite.  Remember, actions speak louder than words.  How can this church expect its members who probably never read the documents of the Vatican or the USCCB to believe that it is really pro-life, and pro-family? The answer to that question is simple, it can’t!

This church deceitfully claimed and taught that the Mass of St. Pius V, a Mass solemnly proclaimed in perpetuity by that same Pope St. Pius V had been banned by the Holy See, a lie that has now been openly exposed by none other than Pope Benedict XVI himself !

A church that even now, in the light of the recent declarations by Pope Benedict concerning the right of the people of faith to take part in the Mass of St. Pius V, is dragging its disobedient feet in carrying out his Papal directives when it comes to this Mass !

Our Lord promised that His Church would last until the end of Time, and it will.  It will do so because of those faithful bishops, priests, Religious, and laity who remain faithful in spite of the many that are obviously not faithful.  It may come down to a small but powerful minority, but it will PREVAIL, Our Lord promised it

! Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, Son of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, full of Grace, and foster Son of Her most chaste spouse, St. Joseph, have mercy on us poor sinners. God bless, yours in Their Hearts  Kenneth M. Fisher, Founder & Chairman

ARLINGTON, Va. (CNS) -- Twenty-two of 74 canon lawyers who are members of a group called Justice for Priests and Deacons met in Arlington to discuss the organization's future.

The group was founded in October 1997 in San Diego as a referral service to clergy who believe themselves to be victims of injustice in the church and need a canon lawyer.

Among matters discussed at the group's fall meeting were ways of educating deacons, priests and bishops about the rights of the clergy and the proper canonical procedures that are to be followed in various situations and how the referral system should be handled.

Msgr. Michael Higgins, founder and current chairman of Justice for Priests and Deacons, said at the meeting that requests by priests for canonical assistance, usually in controversies with their bishops, continue to increase. He said the need for the group is real and will continue to exist in the foreseeable future.

Msgr. Higgins said that in most cases, the priests' rights have been violated by their bishops. "Bishops often have good intentions,'' Msgr. Higgins said, ``but don't know well the rights of clergy or the proper canonical procedures to be followed, whether it is in imposing penalties, removing pastors or other matters.

`Often the bishops don't realize they should have canonical consultation before acting or don't get good advice when they seek it,'' he added. ``Too many times bishops only consult secular lawyers who don't understand the canonical aspects of a situation.''

He cited several examples of situations where he said priests' rights often are violated, including cases of allegations of sexual misconduct, where a priest facing such accusations is suspended because of pressure on a diocese to take action in the wake of an allegation. Canonical process is usually not followed, he said, and the accused priest is not presented with the evidence against him and is not given the right to have his own defense.

Msgr. Higgins said that in cases where a priest's faculties have been taken away, there usually is no reason given, even though, he noted, canon law states there must be a ``grave cause'' to take away faculties. He also said that he knew of cases where a priest was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation. If the priest refused, he said, the bishop told him that he would no longer have an assignment in his diocese or financial support.

Those familiar with such situations say it is difficult for priests or deacons to get a canon lawyer locally to represent them because most canon lawyers are priests working in the tribunals or chanceries of their dioceses. Canon lawyers are often reluctant to get involved in a dispute between their bishops and a priest or deacon of their own dioceses.

Msgr. Higgins said that referrals by Justice for Priests and Deacons should not be seen as an attack on dioceses or bishops. Rather, ``we see it as a service,'' he said. ``It's important for priests and deacons to be aware of their rights and that certain procedures and processes must be followed under canon law when accusations are made. All too often they are not provided this information and, as a result, they may not be justly treated.'
