Knights under fire: Pols targeted for pro-gay-wed votes

Taken from this article at The North Shore Tab.

14.AUG.07
BEACON HILL—Accusing the Knights of Columbus of “hypocrisy,” a group of hardline Catholics is pushing for the fraternal organization to toss out 16 “pro-Sodomite” Bay State lawmakers who backed gay marriage.

The California-based Concerned Roman Catholics of America picketed the annual Knights of Columbus convention in Nashville this week and handed out fliers urging members to oust the pro-gay-marriage Massachusetts solons as well as pro-abortion pols.

“We basically want to see the Knights of Columbus expel these men because they’re not honoring the Catholic Church or their vows as a Knight,” said CRCOA president Kenneth Fisher, who is also a Knight.

But Knights of Columbus spokesman Patrick Korten said the group has no plans to boot the Massachusetts lawmakers. Of the flap, he said: “The Knights of Columbus is a strongly pro-life organization. If there are a few members who don’t share those views, that’s unfortunate, but irrelevant.”

One of the pols on the group’s hit list, state Rep. Robert DeLeo (D-Winthrop), said: “I certainly respect the right of those who disagree with my vote on same-sex marriage to do so and to advocate for their point of view. It is my hope that they would also respect my right and responsibility as an elected official to, after listening to all the facts and arguments, decide what I think is the best course of action on issues before the Legislature.”

Another on the list, Rep. Garrett Bradley (D-Hingham), said of the Knights: “We don’t agree on every issue, and this one of them. I’m going to vote the way I think is right, regardless of what this group or another group might want me to do.”

The CRCOA Web site has posted the names of those it describes as “pro-Sodomite, pro-abortion Knights of Columbus” on its site, including several Bay State pols.

Among those listed are City Councilors Michael Flaherty and John Tobin and former Senate President Robert Travaglini.

The group also lists the names of 72 pro-abortion Catholics in Congress, including Sens. Edward M. Kennedy and John Kerry and Reps. Michael Capuano, William Delahunt, Richard Neal, Edward Markey and James McGovern.

Boston-based CRCOA member John O’Gorman said the Knights should remove any politician whose views contrast with the group’s core Catholic teachings.

“You can’t play for two teams,” he said. “We have to know which team you’re on.”

Metamorphosis of the Altar

Here is a French video showing how FSSP priests and acolytes transform an Novus Ordo Mass table type Altar into an Altar for the Traditional Latin Mass in just a few minutes. It can be done in your own parish. (Video credit: Barbara Kralis)

MORE ON GRAVE SCANDAL WITHIN THE "KNIGHTS" OF COLUMBUS- FOUR MORE ADDED TO LIST OF JUDAS KNIGHTS IN MASS.

I have just heard from John O'Gorman, the Fighting Knight of Columbus from Massachusetts, that the 170,000 signature Initiative Petition to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman was thwarted by the Legislature, meeting in joint Constitutional Convention, on Thursday, June 14 2007. The sad part is it would have passed to go on the ballot in 2008 had it not been for the votes of at least sixteen men who call themselves Knights of Columbus who voted against the Church they are supposed to be Knights of, and for the sodomites they support! They are:

Massachusetts Speaker of the House Sal Dimasi, and House Majority Leader John Rogers.

State Reps: Garrett Bradley, Bob Deleo, Stephen Di Natale, Chris Donelan, Christopher Fallon, Kevin Honan, Charles Murphy, Angelo Puppolo and Bob Spellane, Bob Nyman, and Paul McMurtry.

State Senators: Tom McGee, Michael Knapik, and Michael Morrissey.

It only required 50 votes to bring this to the people of Massachusetts for a vote. The vote was 45 to do so. If the sixteen so called Knights had voted with the Church, and for the good of society, they would have had SIXTY ONE! God have mercy on their much compromised souls!

Seven of these Judases have PRO-CHOICE RATINGS FROM PLANNED PARENTHOOD OF MASS,, they are: The Speaker Dimasi, Bradley, Donelan, Honan, Murphy, Spellane, and McGee!

It seems that the Knights of Columbus, like the Bishops they follow, like to write nice things but run when they are asked to back up their writings with actions! In 2003, they actually passed a Resolution to in effect expel from the Order any Knight who supports abortion by forbidding these persons any honors or speaking platforms. WHAT A JOKE! Actually it is worse than a joke, because we have been told that whenever a Council tried to enforce the Resolution, that Council was quickly told not to do so by either their State or Supreme Offices!

Our Divine Savior had a great deal to say about such as these "Knights" when he said "Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you are like to whited sepulchers, which outwardly appear to men beautiful, but within, are full of dead men’s bones, and of all filthiness. So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just; but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.—Matt. XXIII. 25-28. Does anyone wonder what the Lord will say to these men when they stand before His Judgment seat?

This year, the "Knights" of Columbus will hold their annual Supreme Council meeting at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, Nashville, TN. As always, it will be in the first week of August from the 7th to the 9th, 2007. We at Concerned Roman Catholics of America, Inc. are looking for someone from that area to help us plan another demonstration such as the ones we did in 2005 in Chicago and Dallas in 2004. If you or anyone you know is willing to help us in this effort, please contact us at 714-491-2284 or crcoa@dslextreme.com

DIOCESE OF ORANGE BISHOPS
STOP PROLIFE WORK

Following in Cardinal Mahony's footsteps, the bishops of Orange have turned their minimal pro-life efforts over to a vast and active Peace and Justice Committee concentrating on issues including third world debt, hunger, healthcare for the uninsured, a "peace quiz" etc… http://www.rcbo.org/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=147&Itemid=58

Bishop Jaime Soto has created a dynamic Deanery Program to tackle all the social justice issues…all issues except pro-life. His e-newsletter, issued in January lists two "Priority Issues" for 2006-2007. They are: 1. Immigration and 2. Abolition of the Death Penalty. (Bishop Jaime Soto's Diocese of Orange Peace and Justice Newsletter January 2007) Abolishing abortion is not listed. Pro-life is not even listed as a "Priority Issue". And of all the events listed for the upcoming 3 months for all the parishes (62) in all the Deaneries—NONE ARE ADDRESSING ABORTION OR PROLIFE! And the April 2007 e-newsletter from Bishop Soto is even worse. (Bishop Jaime Soto's Diocese of Orange Peace and Justice Newsletter April 2007) There were "Hunger and Justice Meetings", "Walk out of Poverty" at St. Pius parish, a showing of Democrat (and pro-abortion politician) Al Gore's movie—Inconvenient Truth—at Holy Family, and "an Immigration event" at St. John Neumann. NOTHING IN 6 MONTHS REGARDING PRO LIFE IN ANY OF THE 62 Diocese of Orange PARISHES.

There are NO events, letters, legislative issues or activities, speakers or educational evenings for pro life, even though they were instructed by the USCCB in their Pastoral Plan for Pro-Life Activities http://www.la-archdiocese.org/ministry/life/plan/index.html that Pro Life work MUST BE the place where ALL social justice work BEGINS and that ALL OTHER SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES RIGHTFULLY FALL BENEATH Pro Life.

Pro Life is NOWHERE on the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange website. No attention, no activities, no action, no time, no money, nothing. Pro life is not being addressed by Bishop Tod Brown, Bishop Jaime Soto nor the Deanery Program.

All Catholics across the country must be outraged at this—Please call them both at (714) 282-3000 and their deanery reps http://www.rcbo.org/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=157&Itemid=58 and tell them that their work is not in line with the teachings of the Church. Then contact your pastor and priests http://www.rcbo.org/site/index.php?option=com_jbd&Itemid=185&mode=0&catid=1&navstart=0&search=* and tell them you want to hear about pro-life from the pulpit.

(from the USCCB Pastoral Plan):

"Because victims of abortion are the most vulnerable and defenseless members of the human family, it is imperative that we, as Christians called to serve the least among us, give urgent attention and priority to this issue of justice."

"This Pastoral Plan calls into action the resources of the Church in three major areas:

  • a public information and education effort to deepen understanding of the humanity of the unborn, the sanctity of human life, the moral evil of abortion, and the consistent efforts of the Church to witness on behalf of all human life;
  • a pastoral effort addressed to the special needs of women with problems related to pregnancy, of men and women struggling to accept responsibility for their power to generate human life, and of all persons who have had or have taken part in an abortion;
  • a public policy effort directed to ensuring effective legal protection for the right to life of the unborn.

This Pastoral Plan is addressed to and calls upon all church-sponsored or identifiably Catholic national, regional, diocesan and parish organizations and agencies to pursue this threefold effort with renewed determination."

Where are our bishops?

Danza Liturgica

I'm glad I was warned before viewing—I had my bucket ready. I couldn't even watch the entire thing. I wonder if they think they are like David dancing before the Ark of the Covenant (obviously, this was staged, not impromptu, like David's dance). If so, they forgot that when it got its permanent home, only the High Priest could approach ONE time per year. People who touched the Ark died.

Actually, I was jealous I couldn't be there in my new chartreuse tutu especially for liturgical dancing? I could teach them some stunning, spectacular steps! (even Charles Coulombe would be jealous)

How come Latino Charismatics can never sing very well, either? That lady's voice is lower-grade quality.

I used to be a covenanted member of a charismatic community!

Dressing with Modesty

Our Blessed Mother said to Jacinta of Fatima "Unless My message is heeded, certain fashions will be introduced that will offend my Son very much!"

Can anyone who has eyes to see deny that this is happening, and that our society is suffering from the moral decay brought about because of it. Worse yet is the fact that these immoral fashions are being worn even IN THE CHURCHES OF GOD AND DURING THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS!

For this reason, CRCOA is now offering a beautiful poster that will promote proper dress in Church, and hopefully this will extend to outside the churches as well.

We are offering this download free, but would very much appreciate any donations…

Sacrilegious Halloween Mass in Diocese of Orange

CRCOA has been working diligently with individuals and groups throughout the Diocese of Orange for years. Our goal is to join efforts with the many people who have a genuine concern for the many abuses that occur regularly in this diocese including Roman Catholic Blog www.romancatholicblog.com, Restore the Sacred and The Cafeteria is Closed.

www.closedcafeteria.blogspot.com

Thousands of volunteer hours have been logged, but some of this work needs to be done professionally for which we must pay. Most of these individuals are faithful Catholics supporting themselves and their families who give a substantial discount from their standard fees.

The effort involved in this particular endeavor included dozens of voluntary man hours (each) by more that a few people and over $2000 in expenses. (DVD's of this and other masses are being processed as we speak for delivery to the Sacred Congregations and the Vatican offices.)

(see Halloween Mass offered by Fr. Fred Bailey, Corpus Christi Parish, Aliso Viejo, CA (Diocese of Orange, Bishop Tod Brown)).

We need your support.

If the faith and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of the Roman Catholic Church are particularly important to you, we ask that you make a donation to our non-profit organization. We believe that continuous exposure of these abuses on the internet, news media and to Rome will help move this deplorable situation to the next level, hopefully resulting in the removal of Bishop Tod Brown and others who seek to destroy the sacredness of the Mass.

Please make your donation payable to CRCOA, Inc. add "Abuse Investigation Fund" to the memo section of your check, and mail to CRCOA, Inc, Dept AIF, PO Box 8095, Anaheim, CA 92812-8095.

You are in our daily prayers. God bless you and yours for your help in this cause.

Additional video on the Halloween Masses at Corpus Christi Parish, Aliso Viejo

Another Halloween Mass was held on Sunday, October 29, 2006. Both are shown consecutively on this video clip.

If you have experienced liturgical abuse at any parish within the Diocese of Orange, please email us at angela.darling@hotmail.com If you are willing to write a letter to be forwarded to the Sacred Congregations, we hope you will contact us at the above email address so we can let you know the information and format that should be included and to whom we would be sending the letter.

We are gathering them so that we can show a pattern of years of continuously deteriorating liturgical abuse under the direction of Bishop Tod Brown.

If you feel you must remain anonymous, please email us and let us know what type of liturgical abuse is occurring, the name of the priest and the name of the parish. We will investigate the situation and report to Rome.

Or if you are not sure if something is or is not liturgical abuse, please email us at angela.darling@hotmail.com

We beg your prayers and God's help in this work.
